Dubbo Wedding | Claire & Daniel

What a wedding! Claire and Dan’s wedding was good for the soul. If I had to choose one word to describe it, I would have to say FUN.

Claire and Dan were married at St Brigid’s in Dubbo. Family, fun and love were the three things that shone through in every aspect of the day. Claire arrived at the church in the Big Red Party Bus, choosing to travel with not just her bride squad (The most amazing bride squad! Loved working with you ladies), but also her family, including her nieces and nephews. “They’re a huge part of our life, why should our wedding day be any different?” The bus was full of laughter and positive vibes. Claire was such a laid back, happy and easy going bride with a smile that truly lit up the room.

Their three children were part of their ceremony and the importance of family was reiterated. Their eldest son stood beside Dan as his best man, and their two younger kids were flower girl and page boy.

Following the ceremony, Claire and Dan stayed at St Brigid's for their photos and to enjoy canapés with their loved ones, before heading into their reception, also at St Brigid’s. Breaking the mould a little, Claire and Dan got straight into the cake cutting and bridal waltz. Then the dance floor was open! And dance they did. It’s not often I see a dance floor so full. Live music kept the crowd entertained, and the kids stole centre stage. Dinner and speeches followed, and then more dancing.

Claire soon changed into her party dress, showing off her amazing hot pink rollies. Did I mention this wedding was fun?

Tara and her team at Taylormade Weddings and Events did an amazing job with the flowers, decorations, and coordination of the whole day.

I truly loved every moment. Congratulations Claire and Dan. Thanks for having us as part of your day x

Outback Cellar Dubbo Wedding | Ben & Kirsty

What a way to “start” the year! Kirsty and Ben’s wedding was a special one for us - our first wedding as a family of four. And nothing excites me more than a country wedding and fairy lights! It was great to be back doing what we love!

Ben and Kirsty’s wedding was such a beautiful day! One of those days that make me feel so lucky that I get to call this “work.” Huge shoutout to the amazing dream team of vendors that made this wedding what it was. The whole day was at the INCREDIBLE Outback Cellar in Dubbo, one of my favourite venues!

Kirsty looked stunning in her gown from Belles and Beaux Bridal and was walked down the aisle by her two eldest sons, carrying her Dad with her on a charm attached to her gorgeous bouquet. Their ceremony was full of laughs and tears.

Then it was time for photos, and all I can say is hello, dream light! We captured some truly breathtaking images down by the river. The bridal party, comprised of friends and Kirsty and Ben’s kids, were superstars. Their best man, Brad, is one of our former grooms - where has that 6 years gone?!

Their reception was a gorgeous night under the stars, with twinkle lights and perfect weather. The meal from Salads and Sides was absolutely mouthwatering! (Yes, Chris definitely went back for more). I couldn’t believe this catering team from Sydney turned out to be none other than my former high school Deputy Principal and his lovely wife, Sharyn. I highly recommend these guys!

Finally the dance floor opened and there was even some surprise fireworks!

Ben and Kirsty, thank you for being so amazing and for choosing us to capture your best day ever! You waited so long for this day and it couldn’t have been more perfect. We loved every minute of it.

Blue Mountains Wedding | Lauren & Tom

Lauren & Tom's was my favourite kind of wedding - the all weekend kind of event where family and friends stay together overnight.

Lauren and Tom were married at the picturesque Chapel Hill Retreat. What a perfect place for a wedding, with a gorgeous on site chapel, elegant function room and beautiful accomodation, including a private bridal suite! Nestled in the Blue Mountains, the grounds are stunning.

Lauren and Tom decided they wanted to spend as much time with their guests as possible after the ceremony, so switched things up a little. Rather than seeing each other for the first time at the ceremony, they had an intimate 'first look' earlier in the day. Then it was time for photos before they headed off to get married.

Lauren and her Mum are both teachers, which showed in their attention to detail. Everything was done to perfection. The decorations were stunning, and the reception venue twinkled with fairy lights, chandeliers and mirrors. And not to forget, a colour coordinated lolly bar.

Lauren made an absolutely gorgeous bride, and she and Tom are the sweetest couple. The whole weekend was so full of love, and the two of them couldn't have looked happier. What a fabulous wedding!

Dubbo Secret Garden Cafe Wedding | Kate & Chris

I have known Kate since I was in school, so it was truly special to be asked to capture her special day.

Kate was so excited to be marrying the man of her dreams. Being a hairdresser, Kate has been involved in countless weddings, so she had every detail perfect. With Danielle from Danielle Pearce-Artistry there to do the makeup, it was a real 'Narromine girls' event. Danielle did an absolutely stunning job, as always.

Kate and Chris married in a garden ceremony at the Secret Garden Cafe in Dubbo, with their kids playing a special part in their day. There was so much love in the air as they finally tied the knot, with family and friends watching on. Chris's reaction when he saw Kate for the first time that day moved everyone there, including us. It was a truly beautiful wedding.
